Announcement: Come Sing With Us!

The Bach Concert Series Choir has openings for experienced singers in all voice parts.

Schedule

Rehearsals are Sundays at 5 p.m. (and one Tuesday each month) at Christ Lutheran Church, 701 South Charles St., Baltimore.

Concerts are on the first Sunday of the month, October - June, accompanied by a full orchestra.

  • Bach St. John Passion
  • Mozart Requiem
  • Bach Magnificat
and many great cantatas.

About the event

Twelve-year old pianist, singer, composer, songwriter, actor, and musician, Ethan Bortnick comes to Maryland this October! He has appeared with Celine Dion, Elton John, Tony Bennett, Justin Bieber, and other celebrated artists. He is the youngest musician to host a solo nationwide concert tour.

Children's Chorus of Maryland joins him at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts for this evening of music and inspiration.

Get into the spirit of the holiday season and create lasting memories in this enchanting program featuring the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra performing the score composed by Howard Blake. This year, the Christmas Festival benefits Catholic Charities Community Services programs My Sister's Place Women's Center and Our Daily Bread Employment Center.

Special performance by Mood Swings Big Band

Enjoy old and new holiday sounds in a unique collaboration with Mood Swings Big Band, directed by Jack Vaeth. The musical artistry of both groups will come together in pop and swing tunes for an upbeat, joyous musical celebration! A program varied in style and culture from selections dating from the 16th century to traditional, jazzy tunes. This promises to be a heart-warming afternoon of great singing, fun swinging, and the very best holiday cheer for everyone!
