Small classes provide joyful lessons in music and movement
Engaging the body and the mind in joyful music-making through musical games and movement, Crickets™ gently encourages very young children to explore the voice as their first true instrument.
Class information and Rates
No audition or prior music training is required.
Classes are small. A minimum of five (5) students is required to open a class.
Crickets™ throughout the school year
Crickets™ classes occur throughout the school year. 45 minute classes meet once a week for ten weeks. All materials are provided; there are no additional expenses.
Crickets™ during the summer break
Two types of classes are offered:
- Summertime Crickets™ is for children 4-5 years old and is identical to Crickets during the schoolyear except the ten classes are on consecutive weekdays.
- Summertime Crickets™: Mommy & Me is for toddlers 2-3 years old and their parent/guardian.

We have ongoing classes througout the year. Class schedules are posted in the CCM Shop where you can register your child.

My child has aged out of Crickets™ but I'd like him to keep growing musically. What's the next step?
Give your child a gift for a lifetime. Children as young as 5½ have been accepted into our core program, the Conservatory. Ours is a comprehensive choral and music theory curriculum that is unique in the Baltimore/DC area, taking children through ten graded levels of musicianship training.
