On Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 7:30pm, Children's Chorus of Maryland will combine with the Bach Concert Series to perform Bach's St. Matthew Passion. The concert will take place in the beautiful sanctuary of Christ Lutehran Church.
St. Matthew Passion is voiced for double choir, double orchestra, a full cast of soloists, and a children's choir.
While most of the Bach Concert Series concerts are free, the St. Matthew Passion will be a ticketed concert. The concert will take place over two days, with CCM's Concert choir performing at the Saturday evening performance only.

About The Bach Concert Series
The Bach Concert Series under the direaction of conductor T. Herb Dimmock is joined every month by choirs, orchestra, and soloists to perform Bach's sacred works. Harmonically rich and melodically and rhythmically complex, J.S. Bach's writings are prolific and remain unparalleled in number and size of oeuvre in all of music history.
